Festivals - Italy - Students discover Eldorado at Pesaro

The 44th Pesaro Film Festival ended with triumph for Liew Seng Tat's Flower in the Pocket. The Malaysian film, a Tiger Award winner at the Rotterdam Film Festival, beat out seven other titles - most of which were not European - for the Lino Miccichè Award.

A Special Mention went to Eldorado by Belgian director Bouli Lanners, winner of the Label Europa Cinemas in the latest Directors'...


Venice 2008 - Jury - Wenders jury president, Olmi to receive Career Lion

Twenty-six years after winning the Golden Lion for The State of Things, Wim Wenders will be presiding over the jury of the 65th Venice Film Festival.
