The 80th Academy Awards ceremony for outstanding film achievements of 2007, presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and hosted by Jon Stewart was held at the Kodak Theatre, Hollywood, California. The Oscars were televised live by ABC Television Network, Sunday, February 24, 8:00 PM EST, and in more than 200 countries worldwide.

This year's Oscar winners by category are:

The following Oscar winners acceptance speech brief excerpts were:

Best Picture Award Winner, NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN, producer Scott Rudin said in the beginning of his acceptance speech, “This is an unbelievable honor and a complete surprise.”

Best Animated Feature Award Winner, RATATOUILLE, director Brad Bird said in the beginning of his acceptance speech, “I want to thank the Academy and I also want to thank my junior high guidance counselor for a meeting we had where he asked me, "What do you want to do with your life?" And I said, "I want to make movies."

Best Actress Award Winner, MARION COTILLARD for LA VIE EN ROSE, said at the end of her acceptance speech, “I thank you life, thank you love, and it is true, there is some angels in this city.”

Best Supporting Actor Award Winner, JAVIER BARDEM for NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN, said at the end of his acceptance speech in Spanish to his mother who was present at the Oscars, “Mama esto es para ti. Esto es para tus abuelos, para tus padres, Rafael y Matilde. “ (Mom, this is for you. This is for your grandparents, for your parents, Rafael & Matilde).

Best Supporting Actress Award Winner, TILDA SWINTON for MICHAEL CLAYTON, at the end of her acceptance speech said, “Thank you, thank you, thank you.”
