The following Oscar winners acceptance speech brief excerpts were: Best Picture Award Winner, NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN, producer Scott Rudin said in the beginning of his acceptance speech, “This is an unbelievable honor and a complete surprise.” Best Animated Feature Award Winner, RATATOUILLE, director Brad Bird said in the beginning of his acceptance speech, “I want to thank the Academy and I also want to thank my junior high guidance counselor for a meeting we had where he asked me, "What do you want to do with your life?" And I said, "I want to make movies." Best Actress Award Winner, MARION COTILLARD for LA VIE EN ROSE, said at the end of her acceptance speech, “I thank you life, thank you love, and it is true, there is some angels in this city.” Best Supporting Actor Award Winner, JAVIER BARDEM for NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN, said at the end of his acceptance speech in Spanish to his mother who was present at the Oscars, “Mama esto es para ti.
