Mamma Mia will hit Ischia Global Music & Film Festival tonight
The Ischia Film & Music Global Festival has offered on its 6th edition the Italian premiere of Mamma Mia a red carpet event and red gala dinner at the piu bellissima hotel in il universe The grandissime Hotel Isabella Regina.
Or something like that...
The hot summer musical comedy is ready to take the festival crowd as hostage, inflicting Abba addiction for at least of week (with Mamma Mia, Money Money etc in everyone head)
The screening will take place at 9 pm on an outside screen by the sea next to the main festival location and 5 star hotel. Who can resist such a festive summer treatment
The gala will be held by the pool
The Festival is a non stop celebration of talent from Italy and Hollywood, awards ceremony every night, panels and good intentions (bring the two communities closer, towards co production and experience sharing)
The master of ceremony Pascal Vicedomini must have at least a dozen clones on hand, as he is everywhere to be seen or heard, on stage for long and improvised passionate declarations of love to cinema, backstage, checking the print in the booth, at the gala dinner checking the seating plans…
Discussing with Vanessa Redgrave this morning at the beach she admitted this was her first time in Ischia but probably not her last, she added its funny as everyone I met so far return year after year.
Terry Gilliam is one of them, we shared some comments on the magical skills of the festivals’s chief “amazing how Pascal can make all of this happen every year”
The Festival will be covered by E! Another stroke of genius.
