Thursday, May 1--------One of the fab parties this week at the Tribeca Film Festival was the Tuesday evening bash at BAR 13, hosted by Wallflower Press, the largest publisher of film books and magazines in the United Kingdom.

Deals Signed At The Tribeca Film Festival
Thursday, May 1-------Although the Tribeca Film Festival does not have a formal market, the sheer number of World and International Premieres has upped the acquisitions quotient for films participating in the program. In the past week, a number of deals were announced that have given the Festival more “industry cred”.

Film Florida Celebrates Apples And Oranges
Monday, April 28-------Last evening at the fab Hotel QT off Times Square, the oranges were out in force in the Big Apple for the annual fete presented by Film Florida, a non-profit organization representing a variety of Florida film commissions, industry associations and labor organizations.

On my way to the Festival Summit at the Cumberland
After a cool 3H 15 trip from Paris Gare du Nord to new St Pancras station, a quick cab took me in less than 10 minutes to the hotel (less than the waiting for a cab at the station)
Arriving at the Cumberland reception I got worried when they told me I was staying in a "nice room in the business executive building" off one block...
Did not sound too engaging, or even convenient
Turns out the rooms ARE nice in fact (vast, modern design, spacious...)
