BALINALE International Film Festival is an annual event held on the paradise island of Bali. Founded in 2007, the festival presents classic films, contemporary features, children and animated films, documentaries and shorts. The aim of the festival is to showcase quality award-winning and thought provoking films from Indonesia and around the world, while providing an opportunity for international film makers to screen films to an Indonesian market and at the same time expose the country's rich culture and diverse locations for possible film projects.
