CAMBOFEST: Film and VideoFestival of Cambodia is the firstinternational, independent movie festival in Cambodia. Nowin our 3rd year, CAMBOFEST sets a standard for the region by screening allmovies with written permission from all copyright holders.

Our aim is to showcase the original work of both international and regional filmmakers in order to entertain and educate, while contributing to the development of film, video, and media sector in Cambodia. 

Categories include:

Features (fiction and documentaries), Shorts, Animation, "Universal Language" (movies with minimal dialogue, Local Showcase (Cambodian Movies), and other special programs.

CAMBOFEST's Golden Buffalo sighted in Paris!

- This Just In -

 

The CAMBOFEST Grabay Meas ("Golden Buffalo") Trophy has just been spotted in paris near the Eiffel Tower -- 2008 CamboFest Short doc winner Barbier Olivier [Intestines of the Earth], holding the Buffalo, is apparently responsible.

 

 

The Grabay Meas also seems to have made its way to Australia, see the Cambofest Blog for more on that story:
