Detroit Docs is currently accepting submissions to this year's festival, slated to take place October 22-26, 2008!We are interested in both traditional documentaries, as well as works that aesthetically or conceptually challenge the conventions of documentary film. Please pass this information to anyone who might be interested in submitting work to this year's festival. One month and two days left for the deadline! Entry deadline is July 1st, with July 15th for late entries.Check us out - www....
Now in its’ sixth year, Detroit Docs has proven to be an important cultural event in SE Michigan for both filmmakers and festival attendees. The festival seeks to showcase the best of the contemporary documentary form, from the traditionally styled documentary film, to the documentary film that pushes the boundaries of form and content.
