The main character of this story combines the criminal mind of Hannibal Lecter with the wardrobe of  Paris Hilton. That is how Barbara, the latest fashion of sexy serial killer, is defined. Barbara, a sexy medical student who has not lost its attachment to the infantile universe of Barbie, is the disconcerting responsible for a bloody wave of crime that plagues the campus. This applied student trains her surgical skills with the unwary who do not resist her power of seduction and are dispatched in a clean and effective way. "Sexykiller" is almost a manual of instructions for sexual crimes, which degenerates into a gore comedy of zombies. Hilarious and challenging, "Sexykiller" brings to us our well-known Macarena Gómez in her best performance, comparable with the fatal Uma Thurman in "Kill Bill".

The fantastic cinema of Spanish terror is in growth and comedy is the genre of election. Paco Cabezas, the director of "Aparecidos", wrote the thrilling script.

Directed by Miguel Martí

Miguel Martí was born in 1971 in Madrid. In the 90s he worked on several films, with emphasis on the mega-successful comedy that was "Torrente, el Brazo Tonto de la Ley." In 2000 he made his debut as a director of short films before taking the leap to feature film. His filmography includes the titles "Slam", "Fin de Curso" and the "Sexy Killer".

Quarantine

You already saw REC?, don't bother watching again it's a very decent but close remake, you missed it?  Enjoy the biting thrill and the tension; going live with bad ass zombies.

Being one of the most awarded movies in fantastic film festivals of the year 2008 and a huge box office success in Europe, "REC" was destined to have the rights purchased for an American adaptation. "Quarantine" is the result of the plot transfer from Barcelona to Los Angeles, keeping intact the structure of the narrative, the characters and situation.

Ângela Vida, journalist in duty to fill in the television nights, is visiting the local fireman station. The routine is interrupted by an emergency call. This call is the beginning of a journey in a claustrophobic terror of a group of persons placed in quarantine due to an invisible but lethal threat.

Those who saw "REC" have now the opportunity to compare two styles of thinking the cinema and decide whether to give preference to the work of Balagueró and Plaza or this remake by Dowdle.

Directed by John Erick Dowdle

Natural from Minnessota, Dowdle studied cinema in the prestigious New York University before heading to Los Angeles. His debut in directing was with "Full Moon Rising" in 1996. His filmography also includes "The Dry Spell", "The Poughkeepsie Tapes" and now the "Quarantine". He also worked in the photography of "Arrested Soul". His next project is an adaptation for cinema of the Shyamalan's story "Devil".
