Submissions to Short Film Corner are open till April 17th 2009

The next edition of the Short Film Corner will take place from May 13th to May 22nd 2009.

Inspiring, independent, in the fringe short films are at the heart of the film creation.
Organized by the Festival de Cannes, the Short Film Corner is the essential rendez-vous for short film makers.

The Short Film Corner stimulates new cinema talents!
Throughout the Festival, a privileged meeting place for international professionals.
Directors, producers, distributors, festival programmers, buyers, institutions…all are part of the Short Film Corner alchemy!

Registration are open online.

Launch yourself into the world of the feature film !
Warning
Even if you already sent your film to the short film selection committee of the Festival de Cannes, register it with the Short Film Corner as well. If your film is selected by the Festival, we will reimburse the fees you paid to subscribe to the Short Film Corner.

How to send your film

Once your online registration completed, you will receive your tracking number. Then please carefully follow the instructions to ship your media.

Your Festival de Cannes accreditation
The registration of your short film grants you a maximum of two Festival de Cannes badges category.

A friendly attitude and professionalism are the key elements here at the Short Film Corner; always in search of fresh talent and rare gems.

The 4 conditions to register your short at the Short Film Corner*:

The short must have been produced after January 1st, 2008
The film must be under 35 minutes long
Only one film per director
The short must not have been registered at the Short Film Corner in a past edition

REGISTRATION DEADLINE : APRIL 18th, 2009
Copies must have been received by April 21st at the latest.

The short films must be sent in a French or English version or with French or English subtitles, on DigiBeta, Beta SP, DV, DVcam or video DVD.

How to register : compulsory step by step procedure:

Validate all the different steps of your registration (synopsis in English and/or French, cast, genre…) 
Confirm your payment online 
Do not forget to note your tracking number 
Follow the instructions to send your film 
The badge request is made online, at the end of your registration procedure.

The 95 €uros registration fee includes your film's digitalisation, its listing in the Short Film Corner catalogue, the Festival de Cannes access badge and unlimited access to cinando.com the largest database for the international film industry.

If you are a producer, distributor, institution or short film organism, and wish to submit several films, please contact us.

* In order to guarantee a privileged access to registrations, the Short Film Corner might have to limit the number of entries.
