SLAFFprog's blogThe Sydney Latin American Film Festival (SLAFF) is an annual screen-based event, that aims to share with Australian audiences, contemporary and new Latin American cinema, which includes feature films, documentaries, shorts, animations, as well as films from indigenous and marginalised communities. The Festival will also once again feature Australian-based films in a local filmmakers session. The 5th Sydney Latin American Film Festival will take place in Sydney, Australia between the 1st and the 19th of September 2010 and recognises the Best Feature Film, Best Documentary and Best Short as voted by our audiences with cash prizes. The Sydney Latin American Film Festival is a not for profit festival which supports community programs in Central and South America. The Festival is driven entirely by a group of dedicated volunteers and all proceeds of the Festival go to community projects in Latin America. Call for entries now open ! Closing 30 April 2010
