It was so great to see faces from the past at Wallflower's Bar 13 soiree. Luckily, I didn't feel like a wallflower as I quickly recognized David Leitner at the bar. I reminded David of his courageous act at Berlinale 1990. It was my first major festival.. I was there with Abbie Hoffman and My Dinner With Abbie and we were all in a workshop where Michael Moore was being touted as the next best thing since Belgian beer. David asked him a question about potential inconsistencies in his film..Wow..the room went quiet while Michael found his way out of the question.

David was amazed that I had remembered. But you don't forget special moments..THE WALL had just come down and it was all very exciting. Thanks to Wallflower for providing the evening.
