The 2009 Stockholm International Film Festival Jury- The Stockholm International Film Festival now reveals the names of the five people who will decide which film will be presented with the honourable Bronze Horse. This year's jury consists of representatives from the world of film and one member from the Swedish music scene, and is chaired by producer Olivier Guerpillon.

James Cameron has been selected to receive the Santa Barbara International Film Festival's highest honor, The Lucky BrandTM Modern Master Award, it was announced by SBIFF Executive Director Roger Durling. The Tribute will take place on Saturday, February 6, 2010,at the historic Arlington Theatre.
The British director is happy because young people can see his films on the big screen and he hopes they find “the truth” he was trying to transmit when he made them.

We can all just google Clive Owen to read about his achievements as a BAFTA, Golden Globe winner and for his extensive work in the film and tv industry. Therefore I thought I should pick out some goodies from the interview, that you don't read about everywhere else...

Festival thoughts from Yorgos Lanthimos, the director of Dogtooth.- Greek provocateur Yorgos Lanthimos stirred up controversy and stunned audiences at Cannes this year with Dogtooth, ultimately walking away with the Un Certain Regard prize. UK audiences can now discover this truly unique film for themselves as it makes its LFF debut on Friday.

The first thing that springs to mind when I think of London is… the voice of the woman in the Underground's speakers.
One real gem at the festival is the tea ceremony. A few afternoons, members of the press gather with filmmakers and actors to chat and have tea. It's a very inspiring and just lovely event and a great opportunity to meet in a more relaxed setting.
