PARTNER OF THE FESTIVALEvery year VAFI will have a partner – either a country or an author. In 2010 author – partner will be Borivoj Dovniković, so all of us will be honored to attend his projections and the exhibitions of his work. ACCOMMODATIONEvery year VAFI will be in partnership with one school from Varaždin. Children from that school will be hosts to our national and international guests. In that way we want to initiate tolerance, friendship and learning about other cultures. CATEGORIESVAFI has three categories divided by age. In that way awards could be given more fairly.  Every category has its name.MINI - children under 10 yearsMIDI - children from 11 – 14 yearsMAXI - youth from 15 – 18 yearsPRIZESVAFI will award five prizes per category, from which one will be the first prize and the other four will be equal second prizes. The prize will be the statue and diploma for the first places and diploma for the second places. PROJECTIONSVAFI will take place in movie theatre because one of our goals is to return people in abandoned movie theatres to enjoy films on big screens as they used to. THE WINNERSThe winning films will be shown through the following year in the movie theaters across the Croatia in corporation with Croatian Film association with the intention to promote children`s and youth`s film creation and at the same time to return people back in the movie theaters – «GIVE ME CINEMA!».
