The Green Dumpster MysteryFilm Reviews: Like Daniel Mendelsohn's nonfiction bestseller "The Lost," docu "The Green Dumpster Mystery," from multihyphenate Tal Haim Yoffe, vividly evokes the now-extinguished lives of an extended family seared by the Holocaust and modern Israeli tragedies. A tightly paced tour de force of detection, narrated in unpretentious v.o. by the filmmaker, engrossing pic achieves a unique tone that's not oppressively heavy. Touching yet unsentimental, it reps a quality find for fests and broadcasters and deserves long life on DVD. 23.07.2008 | variety's blog Cat. : |

The Green Dumpster Mystery
I watched this when it showed on Israeli TV Channel 8. It was amazing. I can't wait for the DVD to come out. It isn't only a documentary, it's also about the film-maker, who begins as an anonymous character, head and face shielded by bike helmet and dark glasses, but who little by little takes life and becomes an open person. Amazing movie.
