Independent Features was founded by two independent filmmakers who
learned first hand how hard it is to find an independent film an
audience. The company pioneered the Manhattan Independent Features Film Festival
which is the first in which film selection is done online via a
web-based competition. Since the company launched in 2006 it has became
one of the fastest growing in the film industry and has generated over
405 million media impressions. Independent Features serves as a
