MIFF director has signed an agreement with Gordon Mayo, chairman and C.E.O. of Tony&Guy Malta.

With this deal Tony&Guy Hairdressing will guarantee a service of hairstyling to the festival crew members, the guests and the prestigious participants, providing its hairstylists for the whole duration of the event.

Tony&Guy Hairdressing is an international company which was founded in London over forty years ago by Tony and Guy Mascolo, two Italian brothers. The pair was later joined by their young brothers, Bruno and Anthony. Today, the company has hundreds of salons worldwide and it’s renowned within the hairdressing industry for its legendary education. Charles & Ron official sponsor of MIFF

MIFF Director Hisham Abdel Khalek has signed an agreement for sponsorship with Ron van Maarschalkerweerd, representative and founder of the Maltese fashion label Charles & Ron.

The designers will provide women’s clothing to the crew members, guests and celebrities for the whole duration of the Malta International Film Festival.

Charles and Ron started working together in 1992, when Ron left his native Holland and moved to Malta. They have established themselves as Malta's leading fashion house, specializing in evening and wedding couture.

MIFF director visits Malta for final agreements

The Malta International Film Festival director, Hisham Abdel Khalek, has visited Malta from the 9th till the 16th of December to meet the MIFF local team and discuss about the festival final arrangements. He also met representatives form the Maltese governmental department involved in the festival.

The director and the Maltese team spent this time selecting festival venues, signing contracts with local sponsors and spotting the locations and the facilities which will host the MIFF events. The director also concluded agreements with the lodging resorts which will host participants, guests and visitors during the festival.

Maltese producer Malcolm Scerri-Ferrante joins the MIFF international jury

The international successful Malta-born producer Malcolm Scerri-Ferrante accepts to join the MIFF jury. He will be the only member representing Malta in the festival international jury.

MALCOLM SCERRI-FERRANTE has been working in the film and TV industry since his teens and he is credited in well over 50 productions. His Production Manager credits include ‘Munich’, 'The Count of Monte Cristo ', ' Astérix and Obélix - Mission: Cléopatra ', 'Eragon' and smaller budget films and TV shows. His Line Producer credits include Sharon Stone's feature ' A Different Loyalty' as well as Advertising Campaigns for Shell, American Express , Coca Cola and other leading clients.
